Rated 1 out of 5 by JM83 from Very problematic My wife and I have been composting for years and using compostable bags for much of this time. We tried glad bags for the first time recently and in my opinion they are unuseable. First, it is incredibly difficult to open the bag as both sides are stuck together. As I struggle to open it, the bag often starts to shred in my hands. Second, once the bag is opened, it is incredibly fragile. The seams can't take any stress or bear any weight. We can no longer carry the bag from our kitchen bin to our outside bin. We now need to carry the entire kitchen bin outside and dump it onto the outside the bin. I'm this way the bag acts like a weak wrap for the food scraps, but not a bag. I won't be purchasing again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by molynn from Great product I typically keep a single compost bag for a few days, up to a week in the winter. These are great and don't leak even when there is liquid in the bags. The scent isn't too strong and really just keeps things from getting stinky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mkendles from New concept to me Prior to using these garbage bags I had no idea they made them compostable. They are good quality and can handle being full. They prevented food smell for nearly a full week. I appreciate that garbage bags are becoming for earth conscious.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Horsemom from Great fresh scent So I'm kinda in love with these Glad Compostable Lemon Scent bags. I love to compost, but hate the smell. I'm one of those people that smell everything. Well let me tell you these compostable bags did the trick I just pop one in my compost container and bam no more stink. These bags held all my straps with out ripping or tearing at all. When I'm cooking with lots of fresh vegetables or fruit I just put one of these bags on my counter all fill it up. No smelly mess left behind in my kitchen. Love these handy bags.

I feel like it should be more for like small garbage similar to what you keep in your bathroom so it doesn’t tear easily. I also believe the scent could be stronger to overpower the trash that goes in the bag. However, it seems like your average garbage bag. It’s good but needs improvement.
