How are GladWare® Containers with Interlocking Lids different than the GladWare® containers I used to use?
GladWare® containers now have Interlocking Lids that are specially designed to lock together and stay together. That means your lids will stay organized and you can find the lid you need easily. This feature is included in every size and shape, so you can keep your lids under control.

How do I use GladWare® Containers with Interlocking Lids?
Locking lids together is easy — just place one lid on a flat surface and a second lid of the same shape on top. Gently press down on the button in the center of the top lid until you feel the two lids connect. You can repeat this process to lock additional lids of the same shape onto the stack. Once you have locked lids together, store the stack of connected lids in your container storage area. Your lids will stay organized and the right lid will be there when you need it.
Can I snap multiple sizes of lids together?
Yes, you can snap multiple sizes of the same shape lids together to create a larger stack of lids. The Interlocking Lid feature is included on all shapes and sizes of GladWare® Containers, so you can create your own customized storage solution.

GladWare® Containers are nationally available at grocery stores and mass merchandisers such as Wal-Mart, KMart and Target.
Is it really necessary to wash GladWare® Containers before using them for the first time?
Yes, we do recommend this. The containers are not packaged so that they're completely sealed, so we advise washing before use for sanitary purposes.
Is it okay to microwave food inside a GladWare® Container?
Yes, provided that you vent the container by lifting one corner of the lid prior to microwaving. This allows air to circulate through the container. Also, please note that the container may get hot. Handle it carefully when removing from the microwave.
Is it okay to wash GladWare® Containers in the dishwasher?
GladWare® Containers are top-rack dishwasher safe.
Is it safe to place a GladWare® Container in boiling water?
No. We do not recommend using GladWare® Containers in this manner.
Is it safe to freeze foods in a GladWare® Container?
Yes. GladWare® Containers are designed for use in the freezer.
