How to Store Pomegranates

  • Place Place

    Whole pomegranates can be placed uncovered in the refrigerator.

  • Seal Seal

    To store pomegranate seeds, seal in a GladWare® food protection container.

  • Refrigerate Refrigerate

    Store in the refrigerator.

How to Freeze  Pomegranates

  • Remove Remove

    Remove pomegranate arils from the peel and white pith, then spread on a sheet pan.

  • Place Place

    Place in the freezer and leave until completely frozen.

  • Transfer Transfer

    Transfer to Freezer Zipper bags or FreezerWare™ containers.

  • Freeze Freeze

    Seal, removing as much air as possible (from bags). Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
