How to Store Artichokes

Don't
Do not wash artichokes before storing.

Cover
Place in a bowl and cover tightly with Glad® Press'n Seal® or ClingWrap.

Cut
Poke several holes in the wrap to allow for air circulation.

Place
Or, place artichokes in a Glad® Food Storage Zipper Bag with air holes for circulation.
Keeps from 10–12 months in Freezer Zipper Bags; 5–6 months in FreezerWare™
How to Freeze Artichokes

Boil
Boil artichokes in water flavored with lemon juice. Drain and dry well.

Spread
Spread onto baking sheet and place in freezer for at least 1 hour.

Transfer
Transfer to Glad® Freezer Zipper bags or FreezerWare™ containers and seal.

Freeze
Remove as much air as possible if using bags. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
