Press’n Seal®

Every square inch of Glad® Press‘n Seal® wrap is ready to help you protect your food. It seals tight on a variety of surfaces including paper, plastic and wood. Of course it seals tight to itself, too, so you can create custom-shaped bags to help protect and freeze food in individual portions. And it’s fine to use in the microwave, too.

"Nice Seal and good looking"

I loved the cling power. It worked very easily. I had no problem with the packaging. I find many products with similar packaging tend to come apart at the sides, so I just keep adhesive tape in my kitchen drawer to re-attach the sides and that does the trick. I got the seasonal package with a snowflake design on the wrap and that was very attractive. I would love to see other designs throughout the year.

"Wonderful product"

I have been using Glad Press'n Seal for the last few years. When I first started covering leftovers with it, it was a little difficult to use. It stuck together, and was awkward. In the last few months, however, I noticed some welcome changes in the product. Now it can be cut easily and is much better. Thank you for the improvements in the Press'n seal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Art studio necessity! I don't know what I'd do without my Press n Seal wrap whether I'm painting in watercolor, acrylic or oils. It creates a seal over my paint palettes when im going to be away from the studio for a day or days even and want to continue using the paint colors I've mixed later. I wish it came in an 18" width to cover the largest palettes though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bring back metal cutter IMMEDIATELY!!! I have used Press 'n' Seal for years. Suddenly, I am completely unable to tear the product. Upon further investigation, I noticed you changed the serrated edge to plastic rendering it completely UNUSABLE. I see no need to ever buy this product again if it doesn't dispense.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst box on the planet! Dear Glad: No you don't understand how frustrating it is to not be able to cut the Press N Seal from the roll because the box is so poorly engineered, or you wouldn't be packaging it that way. Furthermore, it doesn't much matter how sorry you are, so why don't you stop posting that pathetic response to a perfectly valid complaint. If you're so happy to help, then re-engineer the box, because, although I've used the product for several years, I will NEVER buy it again - because you can't cut it from the roll! How stupid do you think consumers are?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Press & Seal I love the plastic wrap but the box is terrible. The jagged edge does not cut the plastic. Also the box is flimsy. Previous years the box and the jagged edge were great. Perhaps the Glad selected an inferior subcontractor box and cuter.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sticky stuff now on my plates Love the concept of press and seal but not happy with the sticky stuff it left on myd plate. I covered a dinner plate of leftovers and when I removed the wrap the edges are tacky. Put it through the dish washer, still tacky. Hand washed in warm soapy water, still tacky. These are porcelain plates by Lenox. How do I get rid of the sticky stuck on the plate? What is this wrap made of that makes it do that?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product if only I could get to it easily I don't normally comment about products online but this time I cannot resist. I have loved using Press n' Seal for a long time and preferred nothing else, that is until you changed the packaging. Why??!! If it's not broke why fix it? I've come close to throwing this box across the kitchen. The plastic saw teeth are useless! Please bring back the former or find a better alternative. Thank you for taking the time to read about my frustration with this Glad product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great wrap - terrible cutting edge The first time I bought this product I loved it and recommended it to all my family and friends! The second purchase, however, was extremely disappointing in that they changed the cutting edge to cheap plastic which does not work!!! I have to use scissors to cut the wrap or it becomes a jumbled mess. It has become the most frustrating product in my kitchen and I will not buy it again unless they improve the packaging.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from wrap4*-cutting edge/box0* I waited a long time before trying Press n Seal because of the higher price than regular Glad Wrap(which I have used forever). Finally, I broke down and bought my first box.The actual Press n Seal works fine, if you could get it to cut on the flimsy plastic cutter on the flimsy box lid edge. I have to unroll it and cut it with a pair of scissors. This stuff was supposed to make my life easier. Too bad it did not.
