How to Store Oranges

  • Prep Prep

    To store cut oranges, peel the rind and white pith from fruit. Separate into segments or cut into chunks or slices of desired size.

  • Cover Cover

    Place fruit, with any accumulated juice, into a bowl and cover with Glad® Press'n Seal.

  • Seal Seal

    Or, seal cut fruit in a GladWare® food protection container.

  • Refrigerate Refrigerate

    Store oranges in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.

Keeps for 12 months in Freezer Zipper bags, 6 months in FreezerWare™Prepare

How to Freeze  Oranges

  • Prepare Prepare

    Remove peel and membrane. Cut top and bottom off so that it sits flat on cutting board.

  • Cut Cut

    Following the curve, cut away pith and peel around the citrus. Then cut into segments between membranes.

  • Place Place

    Collect fruit in the bowl, drain, and place into a Freezer Zipper bag or FreezerWare™.

  • Freeze Freeze

    Remove as much air as possible if using bags, then seal. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
