How to Store Mustard Greens

  • Don't Don't

    Don’t rinse greens before storing.

  • Seal Seal

    Seal leaves into a Glad® Zipper 2-in-1 Gallon bag, squeezing out as much air as possible when closing.

  • Refrigerate Refrigerate

    Store the bag of greens in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.

Keeps for 10–12 months

How to Freeze Mustard Greens

  • Boil Boil

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add washed, whole, cut, or torn greens to water.

  • Blanch Blanch

    Blanch greens for 2 minutes. Then, remove and plunge in ice water for 2 mins.

  • Pack Pack

    Dry greens and pack into Freezer Zipper bag.

  • Freeze Freeze

    Remove as much air as possible if using bags, then seal. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
