How to Store Melons
Whole melon should be left at room temperature until ripe.
Once ripe, place whole, uncovered melons, in the refrigerator.
To store melon halves, cover tightly with either ClingWrap or Press'n Seal® wrap.
To store cut melon, seal in a GladWare® food protection container and refrigerate.
Keeps up to 8 months
How to Freeze Melons
Remove melon rind and cut into cubes.
Spread onto baking sheet and place in freezer until completely frozen.
Transfer to Freezer Zipper bags or FreezerWare™ container.
Remove as much air as possible if using bags, then seal. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
