How to Store Grapefruit

Refrigerate
Store whole grapefruit in the crisper drawer.

Cut
To cut grapefruit, peel the rind and white pith from the fruit. Separate into segments or cut into chunks of desired size.

Cover
Place fruit, with any accumulated juice, into a bowl, cover with Glad® Press'n Seal® and refrigerate.

Refrigerate
Or, store cut fruit in a GladWare® food protection container and refrigerate.

How to Freeze Grapefruit

Prepare
Remove peel and membrane. Cut top and bottom off so that it sits flat on cutting board.

Cut
Following the curve, cut away pith and peel around the citrus. Then cut into segments between membranes.

Place
Collect fruit in the bowl, drain, and place into a Freezer Zipper bag orFreezerWare™.

Freeze
Seal and remove as much air as possible from bags. Place in the deepest part of the freezer.
