We got the Glad 50% plant-based Cling ‘n Seal food wrap for my family to use. I think it works just the same as the regular food wrap we get all the time. I will get this one from now on since it is plant based

Works Great!
We cook most of our food at home & most of the time for more then one night when we have the time. Keeping it fresh is a priority with our busy schedule. Love the way this sticks to the plates/dishes. Works great!

This cling wrap that is plant based is very durable and has a great stick and seal to any bowl or food item that I have stuck it to, keeps items fresh for a long time as well. Easy to use cutter and small enough to store.

I recently purchased the Glad - 50% Plant-Based Cling'n Seal™ Food Wrap and I must say, I am extremely disappointed with its performance. This product claims to be "cling'n seal," but it couldn't be further from the truth.
First of all, the adhesive on this wrap is pathetic. It barely sticks to anything, let alone seal the food properly. Every time I attempted to wrap something, it would just unravel within seconds, leaving my food exposed and susceptible to spoilage. It defeats the purpose of having a "cling'n seal" wrap if it can't even stay in place for a few minutes.
Additionally, the quality of the wrap itself is subpar. It feels thin and flimsy, making it difficult to handle and work with. It often tears easily, making it even more challenging to cover and protect my food properly. I expect a higher level of durability and sturdiness from a food wrap brand like Glad.
Lastly, the claim of being "50% plant-based" is nothing but a marketing gimmick. While it may sound good for the environment, the overall functionality of this wrap is far more important. Unfortunately, it falls short in that department. I would rather use a wrap made entirely of plastic that actually does its job correctly, than this half-baked attempt at being eco-friendly.
Overall, the Glad - 50% Plant-Based Cling'n Seal™ Food Wrap is a complete letdown. Its lack of adhesive, flimsy material, and false claims of being eco-friendly make it a waste of money. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable and effective food wrap option.

I love cling wrap and the fact that this one is plant-based makes it a no brained. It works so well and it’s better for the environment at the same time. Plastics are too prevalent in our world so anything we can do to lessen their use is great

Amazing!
This cling and seal is amazing. I was able to use it to store multiple bowls of fruit in our fridge. Sometimes other wraps get stuck together once you tear but not this one! Amazing and stores my fruit and leftovers easily. With a great seal

I love that this plastic wrap is partially plant based.it works great for covering leftovers and like regular plastic wrap it only wants to stick to itself. I like that it is more environmentally friendly then conventional plastic wrap. i would recommend it to anyone that needs a covering that is more environmentally friendly.

Love that this 50% plant-based wrap didn't melt or warp in the microwave. Always a plus when this everyday essential item is made from renewable sugarcane and does not contain any bisphenol A. The seal is airtight and prolonged the freshness and moisture of my saved dishes.

Awesome Cling n' Seal
I absolutely loved this 50% plant based cling n' seal by Glad.
It clung the dishes very easily so air would not get it. I actually thought it stuck better than other brands I've used in the past.
I love how its 50% plant based so its better for the environment.
I will be buying this again and highly recommend it.

This is a nice Eco alternative. It works great. The container cuts great. The plastic stays on the product. I would definitely purchase this again. Anything to help the environment. I don’t see a difference between this and the original product other than the fact that it’s environmentally friendly.

Very impressed
I usually get frustrated with cling type wraps. They don't tear off well and are hard to get to stay on anything except glass and usually get wadded up. This is much heavier feeling, thicker. Tore off very easily. I even wrapped a plastic soda bottle and can and I was surprised that it clung so well. A little more pricey but way less waste for me so it's worth it!

Box was confusing to me
Love that they’re making their product more biodegradable. When I initially opened the box, I accidentally removed the serrated edger from the box itself so I had to use a different plastic wrap box I already had to use the cling wrap. It works just as well as any other cling wrap I’ve used.

Using renewable sugarcane as 50% of the material in Glad’s new Cling’nSeal Plant Based Food Wrap is a big step forward toward more eco-friendly products, one I am delighted to see in my favorite protective clear wrap. Whether covering a batch of freshly-peeled boiled eggs, protecting a group of leftovers destined for a later meal, or adding a layer under the top of a covered container to further seal out pests like pantry moths, it handles easily and seals securely. I’m delighted this environmentally-friendly improved Cling’nSeal is now available.

This works so well with any Tupperware or dish you have! I love that it is plant based so no harsh chemicals are in it. Keeps your dish fresh! 10/10 recommend if you don’t want to use a foil this is it!?

Nice and fresh
It's always nice to be able to help out the environment with using less plastic style wrap for storing food. Even with being 50% plant based it still kept my food as fresh as using a standard food wrap. Easy to tear and doesn't feel any less strong ot durable.

I'll take it for what it is. At least GLAD is trying I suppose. Whether or not you believe in this plant based plastic is better for the environment, it's one step forward of trying to stop the use of plastic. For as hard as that is.

I'm a big fan of using products that bio degradable, which means they are better for the sustainability of our environment. This plant based food wrap is no exception. I feel a little less care-free using it knowing that it is 50% plant based.

I'm always happy to try new things for my family that are healthier and cleaner for the planet and yes these 50% plant-based cling wrap is a better choice for anyone who cares about the planet and I personally do care about living cleaner and will consider buying this in the future for sure easy to use as any other cleaning wrap but better for the environment highly recommended to anyone who cares about cleaner living.

I love using this! I'm trying not to use saran wrap as much since I felt so guilty. I'm so happy this is plant based. I haven't had any issues so far with it not sealing well. Great for wrapping the top of small fruit dishes.

Had high hopes and did not disappoint. Works better than the original in my opinion and it’s more eco friendly so I’ll take it. Easy to use which is to be expected if you’ve used the original. Has kept our fresh baked bread fresh for 4+ days.

This cling wrap works amazing! I use it daily. I use it for all my baked goods. It is great for keeping all your food and baked goods fresh. A little goes along well. It is very strong. It never tears when I am wrapping my food.

This Glad Cling'N Seal has been such a lifesaver for my leftovers in the kitchen. I love that it tears easily, I was impressed with that, it tears almost completely straight at that. It sticks well to cover my food and does a really good job. I would definitely recommend.

Works just as good as original
I have been using the original GLAD clinwrap for years. This works just as good as the original. I do not see any difference! I use it on glass plates, and no problems. I even used this directly on half a watermelon. The watermelon lasted in my fridge for a week without getting wilted for a week!
