terrible productThis is the second box of trash bags I have had a problem with. I shop at bj's so i buy a box of 120 bags so the problem goes on and on. The bottom corners of the bags are stretched and transparent at the seams so they rip at the seam. The last box the seam went off the edge so there was an actual hole in the bottom of the bag, every third bag was unusable. I'm switching to generic so i can still buy junk but not pay brand name prices

No one needs this strength for this job!I carry my kitchen bag to my outside garbage can whenever it is full, and often fill the kitchen bag to the brim. I buy the cheapest tiestring bags I can find, usually the store brand, and have NEVER ripped a bag open!! This is just overkill. We even often leave our thin cheap bag tied up by the door for a while sitting bare on the floor before carrying it to the garbage can. If you do not have a large garbage can, get one! Then save the planet a little by using less plastic, not to mention money.

Black strap brakesI bought this product thinking "glad is a good brand" the bag itself is great, it doesn't break but the strap comes out and it is not easy to close. Why have a strap if it doesn't work?

DisappointedWe always used Glad's kitchen bags, but since
The draw strings changed to a different color, my wife keeps telling me to complain to Glad about the bags always tearing now. I'm going to start looking for other brands to try.

Poor product!!I usually always buy Glad trash bags as well as other Glad kitchen products. However after this last purchase I may change. These bags are faulty to say the least. Every one when I pull it out of the garbage can the drawstring is apart from the bag. Hard to close after that.

SOMETHING CHANGEDWe have bought this product for years and the most recent box that we have bought every single drawstring has broken every time we take out of the trash. we have bought a large box with 140 bags and I am very frustrated of the breaking bags that I cannot imagine dealing with it every time we have to take out the trash for the next 14 times.

Super bad draw stringsFor many years I purchased these 13 gal. tall kitchen Glad bags with red drawstrings at Costco stores and they were great. Now they have changed to a black string ?? and when you pull the string to lift the bag out of the trash can and try to tie it, the bag seam tears and your left holding the draw string. NO, I'm not trying to stuff 10 pounds of garbage into a 5 pound bag.... Also the name ForceFlex is misleading. The bags now tear with the slightest pressure from a food box container and they leak. These bags now live up to their name, TRASH bags. I buy the 140 count and though the bag is no longer a smooth bag and now has a web like pattern that seems to make it look stronger it's not stronger. There is no reinforcement material causing the web look in the bag, it's just an imprint made during the manufacturing rolling process. These bags are junk. The box states, 5X stretchable strength, Guaranteed Tear Resistant. I question the company's definition of Resistant... These bags are not the quality bag they once were. According to the disclaimer on the box, the bags are made for Glad products company of Oakland, CA. God only knows what country they are made in and what quality control there is, if any. Buy some other brand of TRASH bags...

Not as good as they were!I've used these for years and loved them. The last box I bought I noticed the tie had gone from red to black an the bag was MUCH weaker. Now no better then the cheap bags out there. They might have saved a penny or two making them, but will loose a lot more in sales, as people have to clean up the garbage off the floor, from them splitting.
