The two-month competition generated a lot of buzz, thanks to chefs who look good in the kitchen for more than one reason. Voters also had the chance to win either a trip for two to New York to meet the winning chef or a trip for two to Miami.
Winning along with Sam is his charity, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, whom Glad has given a $30,000 donation. The other chefs' charities each received a $5,000 donation from Glad as well.
