Recipes yields about 2 dozen cookies
Ingredients
4 ounce (1 stick) of unsalted butter
6 tablespoon honey
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 3/4 cups chocolate chips
Ingredient Notes
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a small saucepan melt butter. Once melted pour into a large bowl.
- Add honey and brown sugar and mix with a spatula until combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing until combined and add vanilla extract.
- Sift flours, cinnamon and baking soda and add to mixture, mixing until combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop balls with a 1oz. dough scooper and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment.
- Place 8 dough balls per sheet.
- Bake 15-18 minutes, rotating trays halfway through baking.
- Let cool on a wire rack.
