Ingredients
2 1/4 pounds butter
1 3/4 pounds sugar
1 3/4 pounds brown sugar
9 eggs
4 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ounce salt
4 pounds all purpose flour
1 ounce baking soda
1 1/2 pounds pecan nuts (chopped)
3 pounds (2 pounds with mini) chocolate chips
Ingredient Notes
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
- In a mixer, mix butter, sugar, and brown sugar to a cream.
- Add eggs 1 at a time to cream, until fully mixed, then add vanilla.
- Sift all dry ingredients, then add to mixer and mix.
- Add pecan and chocolate chips and fully mix together.
- Form dough into small, golf-ball size rounds.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges of cookies are browned.
