Make your bake sale your own. Do you have a famous family cookie recipe or do you have a unique idea to make your sale even sweeter? Here are some more ideas to get you thinking!
Make Some Dough: Sometimes the best part of cookies is the batter. Rather than baking your cookies before a party, help spread the joy longer by preparing cookie batter into individual balls, wrapping in GLAD® Press'n Seal® wrap, and freezing.
No time to bake? No problem. You can buy cookies at
www.CookiesForKidsCancer.org, which also help fund pediatric cancer research. Choose from Classic Chocolate Chip, Liam's Lemon Cookie and Oatmeal Raisin. Give them as gifts for your neighbor or boss or child's teacher. They make great birthday or graduation presents, too!
A Little Competition Doesn't Hurt: Add some excitement to your next party by organizing a healthy – and sweet – cookie competition. Ask your friends and family to bring their favorite cookie recipe to an upcoming gathering or event. Set out score cards by each
cookie asking guests to judge based on a few criteria – i.e., taste, originality, seasonal connection,
etc. Give the winner a cookie recipe book or baking utensils along with a donation in his name to
Cookies For Kids' Cancer™. Or ask all of your guests to donate to the cause.
